St. Thomas school, is an educational institution of the Missionary Society of St.Thomas the Apostle.(MST) aiming at imparting value based quality education throughout India.

Curriculum & syllabi

Our scholastic programme is designed to foster excellence. The school prepares students for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE). In the course of time the school will be affiliated to the ICSE New Delhi.

Nursery classes act as a transition between home and school, hence we ensure that the children enjoy their time in the school. Formal instruction starts from the kindergarten.
Computer education is a part of the regular curriculum and starts from class. I.
The education provided by the school goes beyond the limits of text books and exposes the children to various co-curricular activities proposed to identify and develop their talents and potentials.

Co- Curricular

The school tries to incorporate as many skills as possible in the children. Activities like Drawing and painting, Essay writing, Elocution, Debate, Quiz, sports, Music, Dance and drama are part of our curriculum.

Leadership training

Our Students are trained to become leaders. Every child is given an opportunity to develop himself/ herself using his/her potential to the maximum. They get a chance to organize and present various projects and programmes.

Speech& Elocution

The language is a skill to be acquired. In order to empower students for the higher education, the oratory skills are developed to suit their social and professional needs. Elocution competitions are arranged to develop creativity and confidence in the students. They are encouraged to narrate incidents, events and stories.
Yoga

For the physical discipline, the mental clarity and concentration of the students, they are taught the Yoga. It helps the students to maintain a healthy mind and body.

Band Club
A well qualified Band master trains the students in band. The school band caters the needs of all school functions and other national festivals.

Moral
We teach our students to foster the spirit of tolerance, integrity and love. Children are exposed to the value educational system.

Admission

1. Age
a) Three years for Nursery enrollment.
b) Four years for KG.1

II Documents

a) Birth certificate Original and Xerox
b) Three passport size photos
c) Transfer certificate
d) Receipts of the Admission and Annual Fee

III The child should be introduced to the principal by the parent in person.

1V The admission depends on the performance in the test.

Selection procedure
All the students who are applying for the admission are required to sit for an Evaluation Test, which comprises a written examination in English and Hindi followed by a personal introduction. Final selection list is prepared after taking into account the performance of the candidate in both. There will be an interview with the parents for the Nursery admissions.There. is no specific syllabus prescribed for the evaluation test. However the candidate is expected to have an acceptable knowledge of the subject appropriate for the class immediately below the one to which they seek admission.
